Meet Chantilly!
This sweet girl is looking for her second chance after her luck ran out. Five years ago her momma gave birth to her and they ended up in the loving arms at Almost There Rescue. She was quickly adopted out, but due to unforeseen circumstances, had to be surrendered back five years later. Now she waits again, hoping her rainbow appears and her future family is found at the end of it (holding a pot of treats).
Chantilly is the happiest of girls. Her smile and wagging tail never stop. She's patient and allowed me to dress her in her St. Paddy's day best for a photo shoot and even sat on my lap as if she were a tiny lap dog. She let me hug her, returned the favor with an abundance of kisses and made my heart just flutter through my chest. And this is what I realized...I was the lucky one that day for getting to be in her presence. And whoever adopts her is definitely going to feel the same.
