Down a meandering dirt road just outside of Sedona, I crossed a rainbow bridge (no, really) and was greeted by the angels in Angel Valley. And part of me wondered if this place was what Heaven must feel like.
Spirit of the Heavens is like summer camp for the inner child that’s been aching to awaken within you. And my pup and I were lucky enough to experience it on its re-opening weekend after new ownership took over proceeding the previous owner's passing. A strip of cozy studio cabins line the shore of Oak Creek with the red rocks towering behind the lush, green oasis. Bath houses with private bathrooms just steps away, just like summer camp. Chakra and divinity sites scatter the property offering quiet places to meditate and be one with nature. Labyrinths offer a pathway to clarity. Hiking trails winding through red dirt leading to hidden crystals and impeccable views. And red sand beaches give way to magical waters to wash away what ails you.
It’s a rare occasion that I leave a place and feel that I leave a piece of myself behind. But as I passed back over the rainbow bridge into reality, I couldn’t help but start crying. Like a baby. Reborn. And wrapped in the arms of the Angels. 🤍
