SJ's Fur-Ever Friends: Meet Sadie
Sadie has all the right qualities going against her. She’s in her prime so folks looking for a calm dog see this 9-year-old husky, lab mix and think she’d be perfect for naps and an easy-going quiet life. Only to find out she’s as spry and energetic as a pup half her age! Yet when an adopter comes seeking a pup to hike, play and adventure with, they see her age and assume she’s not a good match.
But she’s the BEST of both worlds. She’s energetic, but not over the top. She’s got a few years behind her, but they’ve only resulted in a well-trained, well-mannered pup. She’s beautiful with one brown and one blue eye. She’s silly and snorts like a pig when she’s happy. And she’s agile with a running leap that would match superman’s! But she can’t catch a ball to save her life, which only adds to her character and quirkiness. Sadie is the dog of all dogs. A five-star, high quality piece of doggo perfection. And she’s been waiting to find her matching family while being loved on by the wonderful folks at Paws-4-A-Cause for a year and a half now.
