Then you have to check out Pooches and Smooches at Almost There Rescue! Their Pinocchio litter of puppies will be available for adoption as well as a beautiful group of mama dogs. No appointment needed! Just stop by between 10am and 1pm on Sunday, February 5th! It's going to be a fun-filled day of puppy kisses, local vendors, a coffee truck, crafts for the kiddos, a bake sale, raffle and....PUPPY BOWL!

ATR specializes in pregnant and nursing dogs and pups who need time and space to grow and become socialized. Their dogs experience a significant amount of socialization through our specialized programs while in their care. The puppies go through a specially designed curriculum “Puppy Culture” developed by a team of experts including behavioral veterinarians and credentialed trainers. As soon as they are born and until they leave ATR's care, their pups participate in age-appropriate enrichment activities to help with their socialization and overall development into well-adjusted furry family members. Their mama dogs also work with on site behaviorists who develop personalized programs to prepare them for life as your new best friend. All pups are exposed to many experiences to set them – and their new families – up for a lifetime of success. ATR is determined to give adopters all the information available about our dogs so they can find the perfect match. All dogs are altered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption. Adoption fees paid help cover substantial costs and fund their life-saving work.
