Meet Jasper!
Jasper is a one-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix waiting so patiently for his forever home at Almost There Rescue! This rescue is so near and dear to my heart as they cater to momma dogs and their puppies and that's where Jasper's story begins. He was one of the puppies from a rescued momma who was adopted out and sadly, brought back after the family realized they didn't have the time or means to be raising a puppy. It's amazing rescues like Almost There who welcome these pups back with open arms so they can end up in the RIGHT home. Jasper is a delight of a doggo. His smile could light up the whole world and his tail doesn't stop wagging. They say he doesn't ever meet a stranger because he will treat you as if you are family from the moment he lays eyes (and a giant smooch) on you! And can we just stop to mention how pearly white this boy's teeth are? Seriously he could be in a toothpaste commercial.
Jasper loves to play. He's incredibly treat motivated. And once he gets all his energy out he is a fantastic snuggler. He loves puzzle toys and games that challenge his very intelligent mind. He loves dogs and kids and would love to meet YOU. And he's still at the perfect age where he's a sponge and can't wait to learn all the things that make being a dog so great!
Could Jasper be a fit for you or your family? Check out his adoption info HERE.
And watch his full interview (what a GOOD BOY!) below! Please share so we can find Jasper the loving home he truly belongs in.
Almost There Rescue specializes in pregnant and nursing dogs and pups who need time and space to grow and become socialized. Their moms and pups have significant social time with adults, children, and other dogs. While in their care, their puppies go through a specially designed curriculum âPuppy Cultureâ developed by a team of experts including behavioral veterinarians and credentialed trainers. As soon as they are born and until they leave the rescue, the pups participate in age-appropriate enrichment activities to help with their socialization and overall development into well adjusted furry family members. Their mama dogs also work with on site behaviorists who develop personalized programs to prepare them for life as your new best friend. All dogs are exposed to many experiences to set them â and their new families â up for a lifetime of success. ATR is determined to give adopters all the information available about our dogs so we can find the perfect match. All of their dogs are altered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption. Adoption fees paid help cover our substantial costs and fund their life-saving work.
