I had the best weekend with my Dad who flew in all the way from North Idaho for Father's Day! Here's a peek at what we did in five photos!
On Friday we came across this little rosy-cheeked lovebird at the park while walking my pup, Cricket. She had been blasted out of a tree by a powerful sprinkler and was sopping wet and shivering and very stunned. We spent almost an hour drying her off and calming her down. Then, as she came to, this little fledgling started chirping and found her family and they all flew off into the sunrise! Such a magical moment.
On Friday night, Daddy-O and I took to our favorite tradition - TopGolf! I won, of course.
We spent the weekend exploring the White Mountains and found this little man-made waterfall that maintains trout habitats in Greer!
Cricket loved chasing her ball through the meadows of wild irises.
I also saw my first horny toad! And was admittedly confused because he was a lizard. Not a frog. But whatevs.
