Meet Maya!
Maya is a 10-year-old German Shepherd mix waiting for her FUR-EVER home at the Arizona Animal Welfare League! This sweet girl stole my heart from the moment our eyes met. She greeted me with the softest kisses and looked me directly in the eyes as if to say, "Please take me home!" Which is understandable since she's been waiting so patiently at the shelter for that perfect fit since December.
Maya is very treat motivated and loves her snuggles. I could just imagine what a great pillow she'd make lounging on the couch on a lazy afternoon. But don't let her age fool you either! She's active and loves her walkies and still has a lot of strength in those bones. I guess you could say she'd love to take YOU on a walk! Maya is house-trained and would sure love to be your one and only.
