SARRC, Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center has been serving families dealing with autism for years, and yet you might not know too much about the work they do. So I was pleased to be able to speak with SARRC CEO Daniel Openden about their work, and about how Mesa has become the first "autism-certified" city in the U.S., meaning that City employees have all gone through a specialized autism education course. And in July the Mesa Arts Center will be hosting "Ice Fantasy" with a $5 donation for every ticket sold given to SARRC!
