The Melrose Street Fair, which takes place all along 7th Avenue in Melrose the first Saturday each March, is a free event for the entire state that sees more than 25,000 guests each year.
This year, the 17th Annual Melrose Street Fair will take place on Sat., March 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It will feature more than 200 booths by local artisans and independent businesses; more than a dozen local food trucks; the “Melrose Patio” craft beer garden; a kid’s zone with face painting, video gaming truck, and more; and live entertainment with local bands. Both the Phoenix Men’s Chorus and Phoenix Women’s Chorus will also perform during the festivities.
Thanks to a grant SAMA earned for the event this year, it will also be a zero-waste event, meaning all materials used at the event – even the marketing materials being used to promote it in advance – are made from recycled materials and/or or completely compostable post-event.
