Keep Phoenix Beautiful is having a couple of their I Recycle Phoenix events on February 16 at Happy Valley Towne Center (I-17 and Happy Valley) and another on April 6 at Desert Ridge Marketplace (Tatum & 101). This is where Keep Phoenix Beautiful brings a group of partners to provide recycling opportunities for materials not allowed in home recycling bins....electronics....paper for shredding …. items for reuse by St Vincent DePaul and Treasures for Teachers... Bicycles...rechargeable batteries...etc. I spoke with Terry Gellenbeck from Keep Phoenix Beautiful for our Valley Views program and I recently even attended one of their events and got some old documents shredded for free!
