Wings for Autism®returns to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airporton Saturday, October 13th, 2018. Registration is now open!
The Arc of Arizona's 5th Annual Wings for Autism® takes place at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Saturday, October 13th -- and registration opened Sunday, July 1st.This national program of The Arc offers young people with autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), and their families, a unique “airport rehearsal” designed to ease the uncertainties and discomfort they may feel when traveling by airplane.

IN ORDER TO OFFER THIS PROGRAM TO THE GREATEST NUMBER OF FAMILIES, PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO FIRST-TIME ATTENDEES.
If you have participated in a previous Wings for Autism event, you will be asked to register as a past participant and added to a Waiting List until all first-time attendees have been accommodated. We thank you for understanding and will do everything possible to involve all families wishing to take part.
My wife and I have participated as volunteers for this wonderful program and have seen first-hand what it means to the families involved. Air travel can be difficult enough for all of us, but for these families it can be really frightening! The opportunity for them to have this "airport rehearsal" is truly priceless.
