Lost Our Home pet rescue started during the economic crisis in 2008. People were
losing their homes in record numbers and more often than not they had no place
for their pets! Once they started dealing with that situation they found that the need
was even greater than they realized at first and they quickly expanded to offer additional
programs. for pets and pet owners facing other life crises as well. I spoke with Katie Jensen,
philanthropy officer for Lost Our Home about their current service and needs.
