It seems Britney Spears has finally got her wish. In a post on Instagram she announced that she’s pregnant.
“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ … I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???,’” she writes. “My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly 🤪 !!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby 👶🏼 …”
She adds, “4 days later I got a little more food pregnant 🤰🏼🙈🙈🙈 It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it 😬😬😬😬😬😬 …”
Britney then explained we wouldn’t be seeing her out much because she didn’t want paps to get a photo of her. She also opened up about her concerns.
“It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible 😔,” adding, “… women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret.”
This will be Britney’s third child, and her first with fiancé (or husband as she calls him), Sam Asghari. She also has two sons, 15-year-old Jayden and 16-year-old Sean, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Sam later took to social media to address the annoucement, sharing, “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect,” adding, “Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do.”
- Meanwhile, the post left some fans confused, wondering if this really was a pregnancy announcement or not. "I'm so confused… are you pregnant or not?!" wrote one fan, while anoher added "Congratulations! I'm not sure if it is a food baby or a person baby, but either way yay!!!!!!!"
