A woman from North Carolina got a big surprise when she dug into her family history.Kathy Gillcristwas adopted as a kid, and when she did some research on her birth family she realized there’s a good reason why…her bio-dad is on the FBI’s Most Wanted list.
Gillcrist’s cousin, a genealogist, helped her track down her birth mom and dad, and would only give Gillcrist the dad’s name, since he’s basically “someone famous”...for the wrong reasons.Her bio-dad,William Bradford Bishop Jr,was a former foreign service officer at the US State Department in Washington, DC, with high education under his belt…and,he’s still wanted by the feds for allegedly killing his mom, wife and three sons back in 1976.
"I just laughed," Gillcrist says about finding out the news. "We have a great sense of humor in my adoptive family and I thought, 'Of course, my father's a murderer!'"
