Have you -or your kids- ever wished you could spend the night inside a toy store? Well, now’s your chance! FAO Schwarz has just listed its New York City store on Airbnb for a unique stay. They’re calling it"A Night of Whimsy and Wonder at FAO Schwarz"and it gives one family their very own slumber party inside the two-story, 20-thousand-square-foot store.
“For decades, children of all ages have dreamed about a sleep over at FAO Schwarz,” the iconic toy store told “Good Morning America.” “We thought this should be the year we get to grant that wish.”
The special stay will take place on December 21stand the chance to book it opens up December 15th(that’s Tuesday)at noon ET. Guests will have private access to FAO Schwarz’s store at Rockefeller Center and get a private tour from a “real FAO Schwarz toy soldier” – with a mask, of course. They’ll also get a shopping spree, a feast, and a music lesson on the famous dance-on piano, the one from the movie “Big.” There’s a family hideaway with a living room filled with life-size stuffed animals and a bedroom with a “larger than life” sleigh bed for adults and bunk beds - with a slide - for the kiddos. And the best part? It’s only $25! It’s also only open to families of four from New York City, but what a magical night it’ll be.
