Normally St. Mary's Food Bank Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive would be happening this time of year. Well that drive along with dozens of others, have been cancelled or postponed by Covid.
Stamp out Hunger alone means 400,000 pounds of food lost. Food that is needed so badly now that the summer months are here and the need for food skyrockets even in normal times.
St. Mary Food Bank is holding a Shopping Mall Food Drive on Saturday May 30 from 7-11 am.
The Drive will be happening at the following malls.
Glendale:Arrowhead Towne Center (7700 W. Arrowhead Towne Center)
- 77thAve & Bell Road – South Mall Entrance
Paradise Valley:Paradise Valley Mall (4568 E. Cactus Road)
- Off Tatum Blvd between Dillard’s and Macys, behind Wendy’s
Scottsdale:Scottsdale Fashion Square (7014 E. Camelback Road)
- Camelback Road & Marshall Way, next to Crate & Barrel
West Phoenix:Desert Sky Mall (7611 W. Thomas Road)
- Outside the Food Court near Dillard’s
Central Phoenix:St. Mary’s Food Bank (2831 N 31stAvenue)
Surprise:St. Mary’s Food Bank (13050 W Elm Street)
