99.9 KEZ and Shea Homes present Beth McDonald's Woman of the Year
It was a wonderful evening honoring incredible women at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch. Jessica Nicely was the recipient of the overall of the Year award. Jessica has faced a lot of adversity in her life, she has taken that adversity turned it into a lifetime passion of helping others. She is the founder of a nonprofit called Winged Hope ( https://www.wingedhope.org/ ) which focuses on the prevention of family violence by starting new family advocacy centers and providing services directly to victims.
Our guest speaker this year was Jennifer Caraway, the Founder & Executive Director of both The Joy Bus and The Joy Bus Diner, Jennifer Caraway is a Valley entrepreneur dedicated to building a hybrid organization that is both commercial and yet non-profit, all while supporting the people in our community in need. Jennifer has leveraged her deep knowledge of the food industry to establish The Joy Bus Diner, a breakfast and lunch hotspot that funds her established non-profit The Joy Bus program, which delivers gourmet meals, friendly conversation and education programs free of charge to homebound cancer patients.
