An estimated 100 million people will tune in to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, and more than 17 million of them are expected to miss work on Monday, according to a survey conducted by the Workforce Institute at Kronos Incorporated.
The survey, which has been conducted every year since 2005, predicts that 11.1 million will have a pre-approved day off, while 4.7 million will likely party too much the night before and call out sick Monday morning. Another 1.5 million just won't show up or call.
