The team behind Los Angeles’ award-winning, contemporary steakhouse Baltaire Restaurant has put down roots in the Valley and this morning Assistant General Manager, Jason Schuck joined us for Barguments! FLINT by Baltaire, one of the newest eateries to open in the Esplanade, opened in October and features wood-fired contemporary American fare accented with bold Middle Eastern and coastal Mediterranean flavors. Housed inside a stunning, two-story indoor-outdoor space overlooking Camelback Road, FLINT by Baltaire tempts with a gorgeous, mid-century modern décor with natural wood accents, vintage European furnishings and a gleaming exhibition kitchen tucked behind a glass wall. Downstairs, the stylish lounge, main dining room and multiple private event spaces offer a wide variety unique dining and socializing opportunities. Head upstairs to the rooftop lounge, opening soon, which features a fully retractable roof to soak in those postcard-perfect Arizona sunsets. Or dine alfresco all year-round on FLINT’s spacious indoor-outdoor (and air-conditioned) patio. Altogether, there is seating for more than 250 guests throughout.
The menu, which is focused around the wood grill, and wood-fired oven was developed by chef/director Travis Strickland, who created the Baltaire Steakhouse concept in Los Angeles, and long-time valley native and Flint Executive Chef Chris Mayo. The cocktail program, developed by Stevie Raeann, is meant to complement and enhance the culinary experience and features 10 signature cocktails ranging in price from $13 to $15. There are also 25 wines by the glass 175+ bottles and over a dozen beer options.
