Opa! Andrea Katsenes, spokesperson for the 59th Annual Greek Festival joined us this morning for Barguments. The Festival runs today through Sunday. Expect Authentic Greek food and pastries, a variety of imported liquors, beers and wines from Greece, live music and dance performances, several booths and vendors, a kid zone, Cathedral tours and fun for the whole family!
Andrea brought in some tasty treats, Ouzo and some wonderful wine from Greece:
Zacharias Assyrtiko (white) from Santorini, Greece (volcanic island)
Hints of citrus & apple. Crisp and clean. Great w/seafood.
Zacharias Nemea (red) from the Peloponnesos region of Greece
Hints of red cherry, strawberry & vanilla. Soft bodied, well balanced, soft tannins, velvety aftertaste. Excellent with our Greek style lamb.
Location:
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral
