*LIST* The Most (And Least) Stressed States In The Country

It’s no secret that folks everywhere are dealing with a lot of stress in their lives. Whether it’s money, family, health or something else, most people are affected by something. But it turns out, where you live may play a role in how stressed out you truly are. 

WalletHub set out to determine which states residents' are the most stressed out, looking at all 50 states and the District of Columbia across 40 stress indicators. Such factors include average hours of work per week, personal bankruptcy rates, share of adults getting adequate sleep and more.

For yet another year, the report finds that folks in Louisiana are the most stressed, scoring a 59.94 out of 100 and ranking at number two for work-related stress, three for money-related and four for health-related stress. While Mississippi came in second overall, they were tops when it came to money-related stress, while Arkansas has the most health and safety-related stress, Nevada has the highest family-related stress and Alaska has the highest work-relate stress.

On the other end of the spectrum, folks in Minnesota are the least stressed, scoring just a 26.81 and coming in dead last for money-related and health and safety-related stress, and pretty low for family and work-related stress as well.
