The Collins Small Batch Kitchen & The Macintosh
Location: The Collins: NW corner of 32nd St. & Camelback
The Macintosh: SE corner of 20th St. & Camelback (inside Town & Country)
Christopher Collins, chef/owner of the Valley-based Common Ground Culinary which owns/operates Grassroots, Twisted Grove, Wally’s, and Sweet Provisions, has added two new restaurant concepts to his portfolio – The Collins, and The Macintosh.
Collins’ goal is to have each restaurant reflect the specific neighborhood it resides in, which is why each restaurant he operates is its own entity and brand. The Collins Small Batch Kitchen replaced the restaurant formerly known as Twisted Grove Parlor + Bar on Monday, October 8. The menu will rotate almost daily, while always offering a staple of favorites.
The Macintosh replaced the former Grassroots Kitchen & Tap inside the Town & Country Shopping Center on Monday, October 1. The menu features items unique items like Bacon Steak and Gumbo.
Originally opening in 2017 and 2014, respectively, both restaurants were spinoffs of the original Twisted Grove and Grassroots in Scottsdale, which will continue to operate in Scottsdale.
