Spice up your Cinco de Mayo party with these Deep Fried Tequila Bites:
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Angel Food Cake into squares.
Dump and soak in a bowl with some Tequila
Deep fry in hot vegetable oil until browned. Drain on paper towel.
Meanwhile, smear vanilla icing on a plate
Twist a margarita glass rim into the icing to create an icing rim.
Sprinkle grated lime peel around the rim.
Place deep fried bites in the glass. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or make a drizzle with icing, tequila and lime juice!
