decided to take the bite-sized concept a bit further, with Salads on a Stick ... salad skewers!
So easy to make, so colorful and fun for a gathering of friends or just a family picnic!
Jan also shows you how to make your own vinaigrette! It's all in the video, including the

Simple Salad Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup vinegar (red wine, white wine, champagne, balsamic)
1 teaspoon minced FRESH garlic or shallot
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl, mini food processor or blender.
Blend or whisk until emulsified. (The longer you whisk, the more the dressing will stay combined.)
