los Cibonne is known for their rehabilitation of the ancient and finicky Tibouren grape, thought to be an ancient variety originally hailing from Mesopotamia. It's a thin-skinned grape that is prone to rot. Clos Cibonne, and it's proximity to fresh sea breezes (their vineyards are literally a stone's throw from the Mediterranean), is a perfect site for the grape. The "Tentations" features Tibouron, but otherwise is classic Provencal rose: dry, mineral-infused, and refreshing, with subtle stone fruit (peach, apricot) notes.
