Barguments - Cala
This week Beth welcomed celebrity Chef Beau MacMillan, alongside executive chef Peter McQuaid and in collaboration with Clive Collective, will be leading Scottsdale’s newest restaurant, Cala. Located in Senna House, a new Old Town Scottsdale hotel, Cala will open fully to the public on January 21.
Cala offers an escape to the Mediterranean from the heart of Scottsdale’s Entertainment District, serving farm-fresh coastal cuisine inspired by flavors of Greece, Spain, Italy, Morocco and every place along the Mediterranean coastline.
Chef Beau MacMillan serves as the culinary director of Cala, with the day-to-day operations executed by MacMillan’s dream team: General Manager Rob Mier, an experienced hospitality industry veteran, as well as Executive Chef Peter McQuaid and master cocktail curator Clint Spotleson (known as Spotty).
Clive Collective is a hospitality and real estate ownership and management company with a focus on making a change in the hospitality industry through the pursuit of meaningful, relentlessly fun projects that inspire innovation and honor local communities. Recently, Clive Collective opened Money, Baby!, in Las Vegas. MacMillan also oversees the culinary direction at Money, Baby!, and is Director of Culinary Operations for Clive Collective.
