This week Beth welcomed Mixologist Matt Allen from The Mexicano. The buzzy, nouveau Mexican eatery officially opened its doors to the public in December. The menu features beloved classics in Mexican cuisine with extravagant, contemporary spins to match the exuberance of the concept like ceviche presented in a coconut shell, lava rock fajitas served on sizzling lava stones, 36-inch quesadillas and more! The Mexicano will be debuting its new lunch hours (opening at 11 a.m.) on January 19th. The Mexicano features the country’s first Michelada bar with over 40 craft toppings, a cocktail program with agave-based cocktails and a donkey cart with a tequila ice luge and shot glasses. Local DJs play remixed and reimagined Latin music on the weekends. The restaurant exudes the energetic vibes made popular by the group’s sister concept, Hash Kitchen, and features an over-the-top beverage program spearheaded by expert mixologist Matt Allen. Popular cocktails include the restaurant’s frozen piñata margarita, the build-your-own Micheladas made with The Mexicano’s housemade mix and The Horchata!
