On Wednesday afternoon, Larry Fitzgerald was a giver rather than a receiver.
He teamed up with Ocean 44, Steak 44 and Dominick's Steakhouse to hand deliver meals to frontline health care workers.
This was a cause close to Fitzgerald's heart. His late mother Carol was a nurse.
Although, he said he wasn’t entirely comfortable with cameras and reporters present recording generosity.
“This wasn’t my idea,” Fitzgerald said before leaving to deliver meals to two nurses and five hospitals all across the Valley.
“I like to do things on my own, off the beaten path, that’s usually how I work. But if raising awareness and visibility helps somebody else do it, that can only be a positive.”
