Groundhog Day: No Shadow Means Early Spring

Annual Groundhog's Day Ritual Held In Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania

When Punxsutawney Phil emerged in front of cameras on Groundhog Day Sunday, he didn't see his shadow, predicting an early Spring.

Even so, Phil is usually wrong, and meteorologists aren't too sure Phil's suspicions this year are right either. 

Cold fronts have been forecasted for the remaining winter season.

This is only the 20th time out of 124 in his recorded history (there are 10 years where no record remains) that Phil hasn't been able to find his shadow.
