Nike has pulled the NBA superstar's branded products off their website. Why?
The company first wants to pay respects to his family, second... they want to ensure no one is making money off the death of Kobe Bryant. Many are buying up Kobe merch and selling it at a higher price on the secondary market.
As of today, if you search Kobe items at Nike.com turns up a purple and gold gift card bearing the Lakers logo.
Bryant signed with Nike in 2003 and became one of the company's most prominent athlete ambassadors.
