The cast of "Modern Family" reunited Wednesday to embark on their first day of the 11th and final season of the Emmy-winning comedy, which is set to premiere in 2020.
We (are) back for the last season!" Sofia Vergara, who portrays Gloria Delgado, wrote alongside a group picture. "First table read of season 11!!! I (love) U My Modern Family!"
The cast re-created a group picture from the first table read in 2009. Co-creator Steven Levitan shared the side-by-side comparison, writing, "Ten years ago we took the first cast photo outside our first #modernfamily table read. Today, the ending begins."
In the new image, the "Modern Family" kids are all grown up, with Vergara embracing her on-screen son Rico Rodriguez (who plays Manny Delgado), who turned 21 on Wednesday.
