Nicki Minaj the rapper, the fashionista, the business owner, and now the puppet master?
For the rap queen's "Barbie Dreams" official music video, Nicki plays the master of puppets to an array of stuffed creatures, who happen to be dressed like some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
The funny music video begins with a Nicki montage, which features her in a plethora of different looks. Then the colorful video shows the puppet versions of Tekashi 6ix9ine, Drake and Lil Wayne. Later in the video, a DJ Khaled puppet is shown as Nicki raps about him on the song.
The "Ganja Burn" rapper dropped the music video hours after addressing her Fashion Week brawl with Cardi B on her radio show on Monday (September 10). “The other night, I was a part of something so mortifying and humiliating to go through in front of the upper echelon … people who have their lives together," Nicki explained. "The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion I will never forget. I was mortified. I could not believe how humiliating it all felt … how we made ourselves look.”
As previously reported, Cardi claimed Nicki spoke badly about her newborn daughter Kulture, and her parenting skills, which led her to attack Nicki at the Harper's Bazaar ICONS Fashion Week party on Friday (September 7).
Nicki though denied speaking badly about baby Kulture. “I wanna say that I would never discuss anyone’s child," she said on her radio show. "I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make [me] the bad guy. When you have to say that I said or did something that I never said or did … I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t.”
