PAY TRIBUTE ON 9/11 BY PACKING MEALS FOR PEOPLE IN NEED.
In observance of 9/11 Day, the nation’s largest day of service, please join over 1,000 volunteers who will be participating in this year’s First Annual Arizona Meal Pack for 9/11 Day, at St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix.
This year, our goal in the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area is to pack and distribute 250,000 non-perishable meals for food insecure individuals, in tribute to the 9/11 victims, first responders, recovery workers, volunteers, members of our military, and others who rose in service in response to the 2001 terrorist attacks. The Arizona Meal Pack for 9/11 Day is one of a number of significant meal packing projects happening in major cities on 9/11 this year.
Co-hosts of the Arizona Meal Pack for 9/11 Day for 2018 include: HandsOn Greater Phoenix, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Arizona Coalition of Military Families, the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family, and 9/11 Day.
