JFK Assassination Documents Are Released

Hundreds of previously unreleased CIA and FBI documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy are available to the public for the first time.

They were made available on yesterday by the National Archives. They include such things as transcripts and recordings with a former KGB agent who claimed to have managed the file on assassin  during his time in the Soviet Union.

The list of documents includes some referring to the investigation into Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in 1968, five years after President Kennedy was Lee Harvey Oswald killed.

The government has already released most of the millions of JFK documents in its possession, with what's left set to come out by the end of October.
