In Wesley Chapel, Florida, homeowner Joe DeVirde got a letter saying that a lien was put on his home because he didn't pay a $1,000 fine. DeVirde had no idea why get got fined so he went to his housing association who informed him that he had the fine for not painting his mailbox.
He soon found out the the housing association was sending his notices to his ex-girlfriend who moved away years prior.
