Adele stopped by the Chelsea Fire Station in London to visit the firefighters who battled the blaze at Grenfell Tower just days before. The singer came out to show support and thanks to those who risked their lives putting out last week's deadly fire, even joining them in a moment of silence.
"Not every day the wonderfully grounded and caring Adele pops into Chelsea Fire Station for a cup of tea and a cuddle," firefighter Rob Petty posted on Facebook, along with three photos of the star and the firefighters.
"She just turned up at the station and knocked on the window and said she has some cakes for us," station manager Ben King said. "So we opened the door to her and then she took off her sunglasses and said, 'Hi , I'm Adele.' Everyone was so shocked."
