OMG: Italian City Will Pay You To Live There

The mayor of one Italian city is willing to pay people to live in his village.

Mayor Daniele Galliano says he's worried the town of Bormida will run out of people as residents move away to find work. What the mayor wants to do is offer $474 a month to anyone willing to move to Bormida. The mayor is floating the idea over Facebook touting the village's clear air, mountain views and close proximity to the ocean.

The idea has sparked some excitement over social media from users who say they'd consider a move to Bormida. Town councilors say they're still working out the details.
