WATCH: Stars Come Out To Celebrate Clive Davis

Clive Davis' documentary "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives" has its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this week and it certainly was a star-studded affair. The screening opened the film festival and was followed by a concert at Radio City Music Hall featuring Aretha Franklin, Barry Manilow, Earth, Wine & Fire, Kenny G, Carly Simon, Dionne Warwick and Jennifer Hudson.

Jennifer Hudson was on hand to salute Whitney Houston with a medley of tunes that included "I'm Every Woman," "How Will I Know," and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."

She also honored the late Leonard Cohen with her version of "Hallelujah." Meanwhile Carly Simon sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" with a group of schoolchildren. Earth, Wind & Fire performed "September," "Shining Star," and brought out Kenny G for "The Way You Move." Manilow sang a medely of "Mandy," "Copacabana" and "I Write The Songs."

Finally, Aretha, who was fighting a cold, ended the night wowing the crowd with such classics as "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and "Freeway To Love."

As for Clive's documentary, it was sold to Apple Music for streaming and downloading, with a theatrical release planned.
