One young horse is lucky to be alive after being swallowed by a sinkhole.
The sinkhole stranded horse in Washington State is doing fine thanks to some fire rescuers. The pony fell into the 14-foot hole Tuesday in Kittitas County. A neighbor dig a trench that served as a ramp out of the sinkhole. The whole rescue of "Copper" took about two hours ending in crews being able to lead the horse out of the hole. A veterinarian determined little Cooper was fine, expect being thirst and cold.
Firefighter Katie Schmidt said "The best part was when the rescued horse got out. He neighed to his buddies and another 10 horses came bolting over to see if he was ok.
