As you may know, Harrison Ford was in a near miss with an airliner last month after he landed his small plane on the taxiway instead of the runway at a California airport. Now TMZ has the audio recording proving Ford knew exactly how bad what he had done was.
While talking to air traffic controllers at John Wayne Airport, Ford refers to himself as "the schmuck who landed on the taxiway," and later explains he was confused thanks to turbulence from an Air Bus and getting distracted by a jet that was on the runway.
The FAA is still investigating the incident, which could result in anything from a warning letter to Ford pilot's license revoked.
