OMG: Uber CEO Was Filmed Arguing With Uber Driver

To say Uber has had a rough start to the year is an understatement. Now its CEO has thrown fuel on the fire.

A dashcam video taken by an Uber Black driver shows CEO Travis Kalanick, who is known for his combative personality, gets increasingly angry with Fawzi Kamel after being questions about decreasing fares.

"I'm bankrupt because of you," Kamel said after explaining that rising gas prices and dropping fares have cost him financially.

Naturally, the company leader apologized in a letter to employees. "To say that I am ashamed is an extreme understatement," Kalanick wrote. "My job as your leader is to lead...and that starts with behaving in a way that makes us all proud. That is not what I did, and it cannot be explained away. It's clear this video is a reflection of me - and the criticism we've received is a start reminder that I must fundamentally change as a leader and grow up. This is the first time I've been willing to admit that I need leadership help and I intend to get it."
