A former Marine crawled to the end of the Boston Marathon Monday (April 15th) to finish a race he'd dedicated to his fallen friends. Micah Herndon was just a few strides from the finish line when he collapsed due to exhaustion, but he completed the last few feet on his hands and knees, finishing in just under three hours and 40 minutes. The Ohio native ran the 26.22-mile race in honor of former Marines Mark Juarez and Matthew Ballard, as well as British journalist Rupert Hame, who were killed in 2010 after their vehicle was blown up in Afghanistan, while Herndon miraculously survived.
