Kelly Clarkson has released her inspirational new song from the UglyDolls movie soundtrack.
The track, “Broken & Beautiful,” was co-written by P!nk and is about celebrating imperfections and wanting to be accepted for who you are.
In the movie, Kelly voices the character Moxy, a misfit toy who dreams of venturing out into the real world and interacting with kids, just like other toys.
UglyDolls, which hits theaters May 3rd, also features the voices of Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha, Blake Shelton, Pitbull and Janelle Monae. The soundtrack is now available for pre-order, and will officially be released on April 26rd.
Meanwhile, Kelly is joining Country Music’s Party of the Year. The Academy of Country Music revealed she would be performing with ACM Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award honoree Jason Aldean at the 54th ACM Awards. She will also take the stage to perform with Dan + Shay.
The 2019 ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 7th on CBS.
In addition to that, Kelly has been set as the host of the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. The 36-year-old singer was the host of last year’s show and she is returning for another go. “I had so much fun hosting the Billboard Music Awards last year that I’m back for more,” Kelly said in a statement. “We’re turning it up a notch this year and I can’t wait to celebrate all of my fellow amazing artists for another unforgettable night of live music.” The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will air on May 1st on NBC. Kelly is currently on the road with her Meaning of Life Tour and she’s also a coach on the new season of The Voice.
