P!nk has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the captivating video for her latest single “Walk Me Home,” revealing all of the details behind the dancing shadows that accompanied her down the city streets.
“It’s a magic trick, essentially, and it’s that you can be completely surrounded but completely alone,” Pink explains. “And it’s gonna be really beautiful and something no one has ever seen before.”
The clip shows footage of P!nk performing the choreography with a group of backup dancers, who were then digitally removed so it looked like she’s dancing with just their shadows. You can also see filming of the stunning sequence where she performs a routine with her own shadow projected onto the side of a building.
P!nk predicts in the behind-the-scenes clip that the video is “gonna be really, really, really, possibly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done.”
The video, shot on the Universal backlot, was directed by The Greatest Showman’s Michael Gracey and co-directed by Stuart Bowen.
