50K Fine For Family's Extravagant Light Display?

(24/7 News Source) Every year a New Jersey family puts up more than 300-thousand Christmas lights, but this year the family says their town is trying to shut them down.  For more than 15 years, the Apruzzi family of Old Bridge decks out their home with a spectacular light show that draws in crowds of people.  Kris Apruzzi says this year they were called to a meeting with the mayor and chief of police who told them they will have to pay a fine of 50-thousand dollars for the lights.  That fine is supposed to cover police security at the light show and also would cover a bus to shuttle people to and from the home.  But, the Apruzzi's won't be intimidated.  They say they will continue to put up their lights, citing that it's their right to do so. Even still, Apruzzi has started up a GoFundMe account, just in case.
