There are a handful of different ways a Thanksgiving turkey can be cooked, but microwaving it is not typically one you'd think of. A new viral prank though has left many people asking their parents how to cook a turkey in the microwave, and the responses are taking social media by storm. It's called the #TurkeyChallenge, where users post screenshots of the conversation with their parents. While most parents laughed at the seemingly foolish question, the Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says it is possible to cook a turkey in the microwave, but it is incredibly difficult. The Butterball Turkey Helpline is getting inundated with that dumb question, and they actually answer it by saying that if you MUST microwave a turkey, it's best to use one under 12 lbs.
