Coldplay Marks 20 Years With Book And Doc

Coldplay is readying a new concert film and live album that will be released alongside the British act's forthcoming career-spanning documentary. The complete set, which is being referred to as “the Butterfly package,” will arrive on December 7th.

The concert film and live album document two different stops on the South American leg of Coldplay’s world tour in support of its 2015 LP, A Head Full of Dreams. The film chronicles the group’s November 8th, 2017 concert in São Paulo, Brazil, while the record captures the last gig of the trek, on November 15th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The band has shared a clip online from the concert film in which they perform their 2008 hit, “Viva la Vida.” Check it out!

The third component of the "Butterfly package" is the previously announced documentary, also titled A Head Full of Dreams, which will be shown in theatres for one night only on November 14th, followed by an exclusive run on Amazon Prime beginning November 16th. The film tracks the band's ascent over the last 20 years, from its earliest days to its current mega-stardom.
