Last Wednesday (8/29), marked what would have been the 60th birthday of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and in celebration of the special day, a new single featuring various classic songs by Jackson mashed up and remixed by acclaimed producer and DJ Mark Ronson has been released.
The track, âDiamonds Are Invincible,â is officially sanctioned by Jacksonâs estate, and is available now as a digital single and via streaming services. You also can check out the song at Michaelâs official YouTube channel.
Among the many Jackson tunes heard in âDiamonds Are Invincibleâ: âDonât Stop âtil You Get Enough,â âWanna Be Startinâ Somethinâ,â âBillie Jean,â âSmooth Criminal,â âHuman Nature,â âYou Rock My Worldâ and âThe Way You Make Me Feel.â
Mark said an extended version of the track will be âcoming soon.â
Ronson was the DJ last night at the star-studded Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday Celebration, held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, a recently remastered, 3D version of the extended video for Michael Jacksonâs song âThrillerâ is being prepared to be shown in IMAX theaters.
The video will initially be screened as part of a week-long engagement starting September 21st, and will screen exclusively before the new Eli Roth-directed fantasy film The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
The 3D version of the 14-minute film debuted at last yearâs Venice Film Festival.
