There's a casting call for the filming of a new Prince music video in New York City. The New York Daily News says Backstage is running an ad from a music video production company looking for African-American actors and actresses. The video is reportedly for a soon-to-be released album of songs by Prince that were discovered at his recording complex after his death. The video will be shot later this week.
In other Prince News: His family is suing the doctor who prescribed pain pills for the late Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee. The lawsuit alleges Doctor Michael Schulenberg and other defendants had the opportunity to diagnose Prince's opioid addiction weeks before his death. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages in excess of 50-thousand dollars. Prince died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl on April 21st, 2016.
