As expected, Billy Joel's Friday night (August 10th) return to Boston's Fenway Park held a few surprises. Jambase.com reported that J. Geils Band frontman Peter Wolf -- a local legend and old friend of Billy's from the early-'70s touring circuit -- joined him to perform the Geils Band's 1982 six-week chart-topper "Centerfold." Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott also took the stage for a show-stealing rendition of "Pour Some Sugar On Me." Billy tipped his hat to the Beantown crowd by playing a bit of Boston's 1976 classic "More Than A Feeling," led by Billy's sound-alike guitarist Mike DelGuidice.
Yesterday (August 12th), in celebration of her third birthday, Billy posted a video of his daughter Della Rose on Facebook performing a bit of his 1980 hit, "Don't Ask Me Why" live from the family's kitchen. Della is Billy's older daughter with fourth wife Alexis Roderick. The couple also has a one-year-old daughter named Remy Anne Joel.
